Why we built Zadway

IELTS Writing is one of the hardest skills to get useful feedback on. A band score alone doesn't tell a student what to fix, and getting detailed, essay-by-essay feedback at the pace you actually practise doesn't scale when you're studying alone.

Zadway exists to close that gap: an AI examiner built directly on the official IELTS Writing band descriptors, so every essay gets the same rigorous, criterion-by-criterion evaluation a real examiner would give it — consistently, and in seconds rather than days.

We started with Writing because it's the skill where detailed feedback matters most and is hardest to get at scale. Reading, Listening, and Vocabulary practice have followed, built with the same standard: score against the real rubric, show the student exactly what a stronger answer looks like, and never guess.
